<br />~+\9 <br /> <br />COASTAL CONSERVANCY <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation <br />June 24,1999 <br /> <br />SAN FRANCISCO BAY ACCESS GRANT ROUND <br /> <br />File No. 98-057 <br />Project Manager: Joan Cardellino <br /> <br />STAFF <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the State Coastal Conservancy adopt the <br />following Resolution pursuant to Sections 31400 et seq. of the <br />Public Resources Code: <br /> <br />"The State Coastal Conservancy hereby authorizes dis- <br />bursement of funds, as approved by the Conservancy on <br />December 8, 1998, in an amount not to exceed four hun- <br />dred eighty thousand dollars ($480,000) to eight local gov- <br />ernments as follows: <br /> <br />. City of Novato: Fifty-three thousand three hundred <br />dollars ($53,300) to prepare a Bay Trail alignment study <br />through 3 miles of Hamilton Field; <br /> <br />. City of Sausalito: Fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) for <br />an appraisal and site survey of property adjacent to <br />Dunphy Park for potential acquisition; <br /> <br />. San Francisco Redevelopment Agency: One hundred <br />thousand dollars ($100,000) to design and construct the <br />Bay Trail through Hunter's Point Naval Shipyard prop- <br />erty; <br /> <br />. Redwood City: Ninety thousand dollars ($90,000) for <br />construction of 1,600 linear feet of Bay Trail in the <br />community of Redwood Shores; <br /> <br />. City of Palo Alto: Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for <br />construction of one-quarter mile of Bay Trail at Byxbee <br />Park; <br /> <br />. City of Alameda: Forty-one thousand seven hundred <br />dollars ($41,700) for construction of 400 linear feet of <br />Bay Trail near Marina Village, along the Oakland estu- <br />ary; <br /> <br />ill-3 <br /> <br />.
