A one-page cover letter describing the project and a location map. Please answer the <br />foUowÌDg questions: How will the project expand or improve public access to or <br />along San Francisco Bay? How is the project related to the Bay T~ i.e., is it on the <br />spine of the trail, or a connector? Does it dose a gap in the Trail? How many people <br />would the project serve? Is the project part of an approved plan? Who win mmnf1tin <br />the project once it is completed? Is the project part of a partnership? Ifso, please <br />descnòe the responsibilities of the individual partners. <br /> <br />We encourage all applicants proposing construction projects to consider using tl1e <br />. Caliromia Conservation Corps. Please indicate whether you have contacted the CCC <br />regarding your construction project, and with what results. (A contact sheet is <br />attached.) If you are proposing a project that involves. acquisition of property, you <br />must have a willing seller. Please describe your contact with the property owner in <br />your project description. . <br /> <br />Has CEQA review been completed for the project? Please indicate the type of <br />document prepared. i.e., negative declaration or EIR. If the project is exempt, please <br />cite the section. IfCEQA review has not yet been completed, what type of document <br />is anticipated, and when would it be submitted? (CEQA review must be completed <br />, befåreIune 1, 1999.) <br /> <br />3. A resolution from the applicant's governing body that contains the following autñoñ- <br />zations: authority to submit the proposal, authority to enter into a contract with the <br />Coastal Conservancy, and designation of the applicant's authorized representative.. <br />Please allOw enough time to get this resolution. <br />4. The following attachments: <br />(a) A scope of work and timeline for the project, with expected start date. <br />(b) A detailed project budget (although there is no specific level of matr.hing <br />funds required, matching funds and services can help to demonstrate <br />community support and commitment). <br />(c) Evidence of community support. <br /> <br />S.
