As residents and users of the existing shoreline trails,
we are acutely aware of the missing section of shoreline trail that
currently does not provide public access. Locked gates prevent
ac~ess to this portion of the shoreline. In addition, a connection.
from shoreline to a public street does not ~xist.

CompJ.etion of this segment of shoreline t:råiJ. would prov.i.c1e ..
great benefit to the community of Redwood Shores. It wouJ.d create
the opportunity for' the residents of Redwood Shores to traveJ.
around. a continuous 5-mile loop of the area; it would extend the.
Bay Trai1 to connect Twin Dolphin Drive; and. it would provid=
imp:r;oved publ.:i.c aoces8 to the Bay.

If you have any questions, please do not heeit~t~ to contact

toe.

Very truly yours,
wood Shores Homeowners Assoc:Lation

PTA : Dab
c:c: Joel Patterson, City of Redwood City
Steve Tangney, Homestead Village
.
