The centers are open 8 to 12 hours per week, depending on <br />location. The homework center at Schaberg costs $6,500 per year to maintain. This includes: <br />Reference materials ($150); software ($150), supplies ($150), library monitor @ 350 hours per <br />year ($4,550), and Librarian time @ 50 hours per year ($1,500) totaling $6,500 per year. <br /> <br />Establishing a new homework center at the Sandpiper Community Center at 8.5 hours per week <br />will cost a total of $5,800 per year.
