. . 63'ð GRANT OF REVOCABLE PERMIT FOR THE USE OF THE REDWOOD CITY WEAPONS FIRING RANGE Pursuant to the provisions of Resolution No. of the Council ofthe City of Redwood City, adopted , 1999, permission is hereby granted to the STANFORD UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY ("Permitee"), to have the non-exclusive use, as described herein, of the Weapons Firing Range (the "Range"), owned by the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and located at 1301 Maple Street, Redwood City, California. This permit (the "Permit") is granted subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. This Permit shall not become effective until receipt by City ofa copy hereof with a duly executed endorsement accepting said Permit subject to all terms and conditions contained herein. 2. The permission granted herein shall not be deemed to constitute a gift, bill of sale, lease, conveyance or transfer of any property interest by City. This Permit is not transferable or assignable. 3. In consideration for the permission granted hereby, City shall bill Permittee in monthly installments. Permitee shall pay City the sum of$45.00 per hour of usage for the period of January 1,2000 to December 31, 2000. A sum of$50.00 per hour of usage for the period of January 1,2001 to December 31,2001. A sum of$55.00 per hour of usage for the period of January 1,2002 to December 31,2002. Said sum shall be payable each month following the monthly usage for the fiscal years of January 1,2000 thru December 31, 2002. City agrees to submit all invoices for pennit No. in duplicate to the office located at 711 Serra Street, Stanford, California 94305. Invoices not on pre-printed bill head shall be signed by City furnishing said service. Payment will be made within forty- five (45) calendar days from the postmarked date of a said submitted invoice. 4. City makes no warranties or representations regarding the Range's suitability or adequacy for Permittee's weapons use or training. 5. The term of this Permit is three years, to wit: January 1, 2000-December 31, 2002. 6. Permittee shall only allow penn anent members of the Stanford University Department of Public Safety to use or enter the Range pursuant hereto. -.--.-..'.......-'.
