5 P�ii -.S � <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF DEED OF <br /> CONVEYANCE TO THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE - <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City owns the properties located at <br /> Rolison Road and Haven Avenue, in the City of Redwood City, and more fully <br /> described on Exhibit "A," (the "City Properties"); and <br /> WHEREAS�, t�e Redeveloprr�en� Agen�x a� t�ie City �f RedwAOd City.� (tM� <br /> "Agency") desires to acquire the City Properties from the City of Redwood City; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency is interested in transferring the City Properties <br /> and other properties owned by the Agency (the "Agency Properties"; and <br /> collectively, the "Properties"), to Peninsula Habitat For Humanity, Inc., <br /> ("Habitat"), a non profit corporation, to allow Habitat to construct affordable <br /> ownership housing on the Properties; and <br /> WHEREAS, in order to consummate the transfer of the Properties to <br /> Habitat for the development of the Properties for the benefit of low income <br /> households, it is necessary for the Agency to acquire fee title to the City � <br /> Properties; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Properties are not used by City for municipal <br /> purposes; and <br /> F:�sharedlRedwood�Councifl 1 <br /> Resa867 <br /> FXS:fs <br /> 04/18/00 <br />
