5c-� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE SPORT FIELD <br /> IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AT TAFT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL; <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br /> WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS. <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13824, adopted February 7, 2000, <br /> the City Clerk advertised far bids for the Sport Field Improvement Project at Taft <br /> Elementary School in the City of Redwood City, Califomia; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, five bids were received for <br /> the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> WHEREAS, Valley Crest, Inc. of Pleasanton, California is the lowest <br /> responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br /> bid to Valley Crest, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE tT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> � .1.
