Francais Sorba, Assistant City Attomey <br /> Carlos Bolanos, Police Chief <br /> From: Council Member Claire <br /> �e: oa.ii2ioo <br /> Re Docktown Marina, 1548 Maple Street " <br /> The lssue <br /> Docktown Marina is currently being used as residential live aboard marina. <br /> This is a violation of their revocable permit with the City. The resulting <br /> � contamination and pollution puts the City at risk through fines, abatements, ' <br /> assessments, lawsuits, etc. by other agencies, organizations or private parties. <br /> The Facts <br /> The City has jurisdiction over Redwood Creek through a grant from the State. <br /> The owner of the property, J. Franklin Salaman, had a lease with the City for <br /> the use of the water adjacent to his property for the use as a marina. The <br /> property is zoned Tidal Plain. (Exhibit A) <br /> Fred Eamhardt, Jr. is the current owner of the marina business and has a <br /> revocable permit with the City. (Exhibit B) <br /> Water sampling has been done by San Mateo County Environmental Health. <br /> Docktown Marina currently has signs posted by Environmental Health stating <br /> that the water is "contaminated".
