<br />gß.1 <br /> <br /> <br />May 8, 2000 <br /> <br />SUBJECT <br />Housing and Human Concerns Committee 2000/2001 Funding Recommendations for the Human Services Financial <br />Assistance (HSFA) Program. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve the Housing and Human Concerns Committee 2000/2001 Human Services Financial Assistance Program <br />Funding Recommendations. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br />This year, City staff held two technical workshops for potential applicants to explain the HSFA process and answer any <br />questions. In addition, agencies were offered the opportunity to submit a draft of their proposal before the final deadline. <br />Staff reviewed the draft proposals for completeness and offered comments as to how the applicant could make the <br />application clearer and/or more competitive. Final applications were due February 9. On March 22nd, agencies were <br />asked to make a presentation regarding their proposal before the Housing and Human Concerns Committee and answer <br />-l1uestions by the Committee.
