<br />T]M,;LT"J <br /> <br />(g) Public hearing upon the proposed assessments shall be held upon <br /> <br />the date and at the time and place hereinafter specified, upon the conclusion of <br /> <br />which hearing this Council shall consider all protests against the proposed <br /> <br />assessment and tabulate the ballots: <br /> <br />Date: <br /> <br />July 10, 2000 <br /> <br />Time: <br /> <br />7:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the <br />matter may be heard <br /> <br />Place: <br /> <br />City Hall <br />1017 Middlefield Road <br />Redwood City, California <br /> <br />3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give notice of said <br /> <br />election and hearing by causing a copy of the notice of the election and hearing <br /> <br />(in the form of Exhibit D) to be (i) mailed, postage prepaid, to the owners of any <br /> <br />lot or parcel of property subject to a benefit assessment for the costs of <br /> <br />maintenance and operation of the Improvements, (ii) published once in the <br /> <br />official newspaper of the City and (iii) posted on or near the Council chamber <br /> <br />door or any bulletin board in or adjacent to the City Hall. <br /> <br />The City Clerk is <br /> <br />hereby further authorized and directed to mail, postage prepaid, a Notice of <br /> <br />Proposed Assessment and Property Owners Ballot (in the form of Exhibit C) with <br /> <br />a return addressed, postage prepaid, envelope to the owners of any lot or parcel <br /> <br />of property subject to a benefit assessment for the costs of maintenance and <br /> <br />operation of the Improvements.
