RD-OO- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR EXCLUSIVE RIGHT <br />TO NEGOTIATE <br /> <br />(WESTERN INVESTMENT REAL ESTATE TRUST <br />AND THE INNISFREE COMPANIES) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. RD-99-24 adopted May 17, 1999, <br /> <br />this Agency entered into an Agreement for Exclusive Right to Negotiate with <br /> <br />Western Investment Real Estate Trust, a California Business Trust, and the <br /> <br />Innisfree Companies, a California corporation (the "Agreement"), dated June 10, <br /> <br />1999, regarding a proposed Redevelopment Project commonly described as the <br /> <br />Downtown Retail-Cinema Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the term of the Agreement, as extended by the Agency's <br /> <br />Executive Director pursuant to paragraph 1 thereof, will expire May 30, 2000; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report is under preparation for the <br /> <br />Project pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (Pub.
