<br />'7Ñ-2. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE <br />(1) KONICA 7065 COPIER FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />SERVICES DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br /> <br />the purchase of one (1) copier for the Public Works Services Department of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, five bids were received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Konica Business Technologies, Inc. of San Jose, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder (meeting the City's specifications) and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of Konica Business <br /> <br />Technologies, Inc.; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Konica Business Technologies, Inc., for the purchase of one <br /> <br />(1) Konica 7065 Copier to the City of Redwood City in the total amount of <br /> <br />Seventeen Thousand Fifty and No/100 Dollars ($17,050.00) and in accordance <br /> <br />with said bidder's proposal dated May 17, 2000, is hereby accepted, and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder in response to <br /> <br />solicitation for bids without advertisement for said copier. <br /> <br />Reso-923 <br />FXSIfs <br />F :/Sha red/Redwood/Council <br />06/20/00 <br /> <br />1 <br />
