<br />'ì L- 2 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR FACILIL TV RENOVATION <br /> <br />(POPLAR RECARE) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Poplar ReCare (Contractor) conducts an educational and <br /> <br />vocational services program for infants, children, adults, and seniors with <br /> <br />disabilities for residents of the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br /> <br />conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999, and <br /> <br />ending June 30, 2000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> <br />desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Twenty One Thousand and no/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($21,000.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the <br /> <br />foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented <br /> <br />to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Reso-912 <br />F :/Shared Redwood/Council <br />FXS:djk <br />06108100 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />,. <br />
