<br />'1 M -2.. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. - - <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE <br />REDWOOD CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT, THE SAN CARLOS <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE MENLO PARK POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />Memorandum <br /> <br />of Understanding <br /> <br />("MOU") <br /> <br />entitled, <br /> <br />"Memorandum of Understanding Between the Redwood City Police Department, <br /> <br />the San Carlos Police Department, and the Menlo Park Police Department <br /> <br />Regarding the Redwood City Police Department's Special Weapons and Tactics <br /> <br />Team", by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the <br /> <br />State of California, the City of San Carlos, a municipal corporation of the State of <br /> <br />California, and the City of Menlo Park, a municipal corporation of the State of <br /> <br />California for the purpose of establishing a joint SWAT among the participating <br /> <br />agencies to handle certain tactical situations, a copy of which MOU is on file in <br /> <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full <br /> <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the Police Chief and City Clerk are <br /> <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute, and to attest thereto, respectively, <br /> <br />said MOU for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City: <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Reso-90B <br />F: \sha red\Redwood\Cou ncil\ <br />FX5:djk <br />06/06/00 <br /> <br />1 <br />
