<br />'}t-I.~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br />ASPHALT -CONCRETE MATERIALS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2000- <br />2001; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE <br />DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br /> <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published <br /> <br />for the purchase of Asphalt-Concrete Materials for Fiscal Year 2000-2001; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication, one bid was received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Granite Rock Company of Redwood City, California, was the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />accept the bid of Granite Rock Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCil OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOllOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Granite Rock Company in the amount of Seventy-five <br /> <br />Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-five and No/100 Dollars ($75,835.00), computed <br /> <br />in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated June 21, 2000 for the purchase <br /> <br />of asphalt-concrete materials, which bid is on file in the office of the Director of <br /> <br />Public Works Services, to which reference is hereby made for the full particulars <br /> <br />thereof, is hereby approved, and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for the sale of said asphalt-concrete materials. <br /> <br />Reso-944 <br />DES:djk <br />F: Shared/Redwood/Council <br />07111/00 <br /> <br />1 <br />
