PRUDENT SYSTEM EMERGENCY RESERVE <br />Philosophy: The June 1989 Kennedy/Jenks/Chilton engineering report accepted by the City <br />Council in 1990 recommended that a $2 million system emergency reserve be established and <br />maintained at all times. Staff concurred with this recommendation and the 1993 Joint <br />recommendation included a multi-year incremental accumulation of the funds. <br /> <br />VII. CONTINUE SUPPORT OF ECONOMIC GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT <br />Philosophy: The Committee's recommendations are guided by the City Council priority of <br />promoting and supporting economic growth and development throughout the City. <br /> <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
