<br />f)-:S - ! <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE REPLACEMENT <br />AND/OR REPAIR OF MOTORS FOR THE VARIOUS PUMP <br />STATIONS IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br /> <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published <br /> <br />for the replacement and/or repair of motors for the various pumps stations in the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publications one bid was received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Koffler Electrical Mechanical Apparatus Repair of San <br /> <br />Leandro, California, for motor replacement and/or repair, is the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the <br /> <br />bid of Koffler Electrical Mechanical Apparatus Repair; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Koffler Electrical Mechanical Apparatus Repair, in the total <br /> <br />amount of Twenty-four Thousand Six Hundred Forty-eight and No/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($24,648.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated June <br /> <br />19, 2000, for replacement and/or repair of water, storm and sanitary sewer <br /> <br />motors for the various pump stations, which bid is on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Reso-938 <br />DES:djk <br />F :/8 hared/8ha red/Redwood/Cou n ci I <br />07/11/00 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />,-..."".., ~.
