The Goais Proiect: 1999 Bavlands <br /> Ecosvstem Habitat Goals, a report of habitat recommendations prepared by the San Francisco Bay <br /> Area Wetlands Ecosystem Goals Project, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, sets guiding <br /> principles for Bay habitat restoration. We believe that some of our own altematives are <br /> environmentally consistent with the Goals and conclude that a rnutuaffy beneficial approach is <br /> achievable. <br /> We woufd appreciate meeting with you and the other agency representatives, at your eariiest <br /> convenience, to discuss our flood control and transportation issues and how they can fit into the <br /> acquisition process and timeiine.
