'1.3Ab <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> 1. SCOPE OF WORK/PROJECT MANAGEMENT PLAN. The Scope of Work <br /> for the Project is attached hereto and incorporated by this reference as Exhibit C. Except <br /> as set forth below, Belmont shall not have the right to amend or modify the terms and <br /> conditions of the Consulting Agreement, including the scope of work, without the prior <br /> written consent of Redwood City Manager. Provided, however, that the written approval <br /> of Manager shall not be required in the event that (1) Belmont's any one proposed <br /> amendment or modification to the Consulting Agreement does not increase the cost of <br /> the Consulting Agreement in the sum in excess of $10,000.00; and (2) the amendments <br /> and modifications do not increase the cost of the Consulting Agreement in the aggregate <br /> sum of $20,000.00; and provided further that the proposed amendments or modifications <br /> do not, in Manager's opinion, change the design and/or construction method of the <br /> Project and/or may increase the cost of construction of the Project. Belmont shall notify <br /> Manager in writing of all requests for amendment, modification, addendum to the <br /> Consulting Agreement and shall promptly provide copies of all such requests to the <br /> Redwood City Manager. <br /> 2. REDWOOD CITY'S APPROVAL. REDWOOD CITY hereby acknowledges <br /> that BELMONT has included in its contract for completion of design and document <br /> preparation for the Project, certain improvements benefitting REDWOOD CITY. <br /> REDWOOD CITY has reviewed and approved that portion of the plans for the Project <br /> relating to REDWOOD CITY's interest in the Project.
