<br />7,~~3. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING <br />ENGINEERING SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE <br />WOODSIDE ROAD WIDENING PROJECT (PHASE II) <br /> <br />(MARK THOMAS & CO., INC.) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires the widening of Woodside <br /> <br />Road between the limits of Broadway and EI Camino Real in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires additional <br /> <br />professional consulting engineering services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mark Thomas & Co., Inc. of Redwood City, California, <br /> <br />represents that it possesses the experience, and is qualified to perform the <br /> <br />additional aforesaid services required for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement - Professional Consulting <br /> <br />Engineering Services - Woodside Road Widening Project (Phase II)" (form dated <br /> <br />08/11/00), by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of <br /> <br />the State of California, and Mark Thomas & Co., Inc., for the performance of the <br /> <br />above-mentioned services, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of <br /> <br />the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars <br /> <br />Reso-974 <br />DES:djk <br />F :/SharedlRedwoodlCouncil <br />08/11/00 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />':---".'---'-'r'.""""' ,0 <br />
