Complete construction August 2000 December 2001 February 2002 March 2002 August 2003 Mark Thomas and Company, was selected from a list of four (4) consultants who were interviewed for this project during the Phase 1 process. Their fee is not to exceed $865,000, and is considered reasonable and competitive for these services. The Transportation Authority's (TA) share of the Phase 2 costs will be $622,800, and the City's share will be $242,200 of the total cost for the design. A complete copy of the agreement is available for review in the City Clerk's office. Fiscal Impact The San Mateo County T A will be paying $6.133 million (72%) for this phase of the Engineering Costs from the Measure "A" Y2 cent sales tax revenue. The balance of funds for this project ($2.4 million, or 28%) was budgeted by the City Council as part of their Council-approved traffic mitigation fees for new developments in the Woodside corridor approved prior to the Traffic Fee Ordinance. The current estimated cost of the project is $8,533,000, but this cost will be updated at the completion of the plans and specifications, the next step in this project. This cost does not include any "entry features," but does include basic landscaping and sound wall treatments. Staff will return to Council at a later date with more updated costs for these features during the design phase.
