<br />1. !J)~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING <br />SERVICES FOR TRAFFIC STUDY/ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS <br />OF 1061 DOUGLAS AVENUE <br /> <br />(PARSONS TRANSPORTATION GROUP, INC.) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires a traffic study and environmental analysis in <br /> <br />order to understand the traffic impact of a proposed development of a new five- <br /> <br />story office building and five-level parking structure located at 1061 Douglas <br /> <br />Avenue in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of a traffic study <br /> <br />and environmental analysis is required pursuant to the California Environmental <br /> <br />Quality Act ("CEQA"; Pub. Res. Code §2100 et seq.), the State Guidelines <br /> <br />implementive thereof ("State CEQA Guidelines"; 14 CCR §15000, et seq.) and <br /> <br />the City's Regulations implementive thereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to City's Regulations, the City of Redwood City has <br /> <br />determined that the traffic study which is part of said environmental studies and <br /> <br />documentation shall be prepared pursuant to contract entered into with <br /> <br />Consultant subject to funding therefore by Trammel-Crow Company (the <br /> <br />"Developer"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Developer has deposited with the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />the estimated fees and costs to be incurred pursuant to said agreement; and <br /> <br />Reso-971 <br />F: \sha red\redwood\cou nci I <br />FX5:djk <br />08/07/00 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />"'----"C -'C"""""""" <br />
