<br />1 :~1>t.t <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires professional traffic <br /> <br />engineering services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Parsons Transportation Group, Inc., of San Jose, California, <br /> <br />represents that it is qualified on the basis of experience and expertise to perform <br /> <br />the aforesaid services required for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement - Professional Consulting <br /> <br />Services - Traffic Study/Environmental Analysis for 1061 Douglas Avenue" (form <br /> <br />dated 08/07/00), by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California, and Parsons Transportation Group, Inc. of <br /> <br />San Jose, California, for the performance of the above-mentioned services, a <br /> <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and <br /> <br />the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute <br /> <br />and to attest theteto, respectively, said agreement for and on behalf of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* * <br /> <br />Reso-971 <br />F :\shared\redwood\council <br />FXS:djk <br />08/07/00 <br /> <br />2 <br />
