Pursuant to Ordinance No. 2198, entitled, "Interim Urgency Ordinance Prohibiting Office Development on Parcels of Property One Acre or Larger Within the CG (General Commercial), CG-R (General Commercial-Residential Combining), CB (Central Business), and CN (Neighborhood Commercial) Zoning Districts in the City Of Redwood City," operative July 24, 2000, this Council enacted restrictions on office developments on parcels of property one acre or larger in the CG, CG-R, CB, and CN Zoning Districts throughout the City. J. During the intervening period from the introduction of said ordinance, on July 24, 2000, City staff and professional consultants have reviewed the effects upon office developments of said ordinance and have further studied the adverse impacts of such developments described hereinabove; K. As a result of said preliminary studies, staff and consultants have recommended new and different regulations more specifically addressing the adverse impacts than provided under the aforesaid Ordinance No. 2198, L.
