MINUTE ORDER 00-289 <br /> <br />B) <br /> <br />Public Hearing on Notice of Intention to Amend Conflict of Interest Code; <br /> <br />City Clerk Howe explained that the Political Reform Act of 1974 requires every local <br />government agency to review its conflict of interest code biennially to determine if it <br />is accurate, or, alternatively, that the code must be amended. The conflict of interest <br />code designates employees, members of boards, committees and commissions, City <br />officers and consultants who by virtue of their positions, make or participate in making <br />decisions which may affect their financial interests and must therefore, disclose these <br />interests on the Fair Political Practices Commission Form 700. <br /> <br />Mayor Ruskin opened the Public Hearing. MIS Ira/Howard to close the public hearing. <br />The motion'passed by a unanimous voice vote. <br /> <br />MIS Howard/Ira to adopt RESOLUTION 14016 AMENDING CONFLICT OF <br />INTEREST CODE FOR THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY.
