(Pending authorization <br />by City Council, September 11, 2000) Cost: $4,955.00 <br /> <br />Total Cost Items 1-3: $17,460.60 <br /> <br />Alternatives <br />1. Do not perform the additional work described above. <br />2. Do not add the work to the FY 2000-2001 Thermoplastic and Signs Services project. <br />3. Advertise for bids to perform the work as one or more separate projects. <br /> <br />Staff believes the best alternative is to add the work to the subject project. The work will <br />be completed at a competitive price at the earliest possible time. <br /> <br />Fiscal Impact <br />Funds for Cost Item 1 ($10,712.60) of the Change Order are available in the Thermoplastic <br />Pavement Markings project of the FY 2000-2001 Capital Improvement Program from the <br />Gas Tax Construction Fund.
