You should also understand that during the course of my representation, I may acquire confidential information from Westem and because of my representation, I will not be in a position to disclose such confidential information to you or any other parties. Your signature on this letter will indicate your acknowledgment of the potential conflicts of interest which may arise, your informed waiver of these conflicts in accordance with the conditions enumerated in this letter, and your desire to have me represent Redwood City Redevelopment Agency with regazd to the scope of services outlined herein. Should you have need for any further information conceming any potential conflict of interest at any time during my representation, please feel free to ask. C ��EGAL FEES AND BILLING PRACTICES: We will bill you by the hour for time spent on the matter. My current hourly rate is $300/hour and Jeanne Pavao, my associate, is cunently billed at $195/hour. As an accommodation to the Redevelopment Agency, I am reducing, by 10%, my hourly rate to $270/hour. Chazges will be in minimum units of 1/lOth of an hour. We will provide you detailed monthly bills. Please understand that the total amount of fees, costs, and expenses may vary depending on future circumstances, and that any estimate of projected fees or costs is merely an estimate, not an agreement to perform services for a flat fee. STATEMENTS: We will send you monthly statements for fees and costs incurred. We may ask that you pay our statement in full within ten days after each statement's date. Please ca11 me should you have any questions about our billing. RETAINER: As a professional courtesy, we have waived any retainer deposit. DISCHARGE AND WITHDRAWAL: You may discharge us at any time. I may ��zthd.raw immediately with your consent, or for good cause, or should an actual conflict of interest arise, or at any time upon thirty (30) days notice. Good cause shall include your refusal to cooperate with us or to follow our advice on a material matter or any other fact or circumstance that would render our continuing representation unlawful or unethical. I may withdraw from representation of you should fees and costs not be paid within 30 days of billing. CONCLUSION OF SERVICES: When our services conclude, all unpaid charges shall become immediately due and payable. After our services conclude, I will, upon your request, deliver a copy of your file to you, along with any of your funds or property in our possession.
