�.3•�4�. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. � <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE <br /> (1) SANDBAG MAKING EQUIPMENT AND AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br /> the purchase of one (1) sandbag-making machine; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, finro bids were received; and <br /> WHEREAS, Hogan Manufacturing, Inc. of Escalon, California is the lowest <br /> responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the <br /> bid of Municipal Maintenance Equipment. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Hogan Manufacturing, Inc. for the sale of one (1) "Speed <br /> Sandbagg'r" to the City of Redwood City in the amount of Sixteen Thousand <br /> Three Hundred Twenty and 23/100 Dollars ($16,320.23) in accordance with said <br /> bidder's proposal dated August 14, 2000 is hereby accepted, and said bidder is <br /> hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder in response to solicitation for <br /> bids without advertisement for said equipment. <br /> 2.
