hereinafter described in accordance with, and as provided for in, the plans being ��3�E � <br /> prepared by Pacific Gas and Electric Company, entitled, "Underground Improvement <br /> Plans for Existing Overhead Utilities at 890 Broadway," as well as City's revised <br /> specifications entitled, "Engineering Standards of the City of Redwood Cit�', adopted <br /> January 5, 1998 which plans and specifications are on file in the office of the Manager, <br /> Engineering and Construction. Said Improvements shall afso be constructed in strict <br /> comp(iance with the provisions of Article VII, Chapter 29 of the Code of the City of <br /> Redwood City. If a conflict exists between the pians and specifications and said Chapter <br /> 29 in regard to the standard for a particular improvement, the stricter standard shall <br /> govern to the extent of such conflict. Owner shall complete all of the Improvements, <br /> subject to such exceptions and time extensions allowable under paragraph 10, on or <br /> before June 30, 2001. The Improvements shall include, but are not necessarily limited <br /> to, all of the following: <br /> (a) trenching backfill and paving <br /> (b) curbs, gutters, sidewalks (associated with trenching) <br /> (c) undergrounding of existing overhead utilities, including electric, <br /> telephone, and cable TV, complete <br /> and all other work, improvements, or construction required by or mentioned in the <br /> above-mentioned plans and specifications, conditions of permits and alf construction, <br /> appurtenances, and improvements necessary as reasonably determined by the City <br /> Engineer, Engineering and Construction to complete the aforementioned improvements. <br /> 2. Securitv. Owner shall, prior to the commencement of any construction of the <br /> Improvements, furnish to City and file with the City Clerk a cash deposit, securing the <br /> faithful performance including tabor and materials of all work and the construction of the <br /> Improvements mentioned in this Agreement within the time herein specified.
