�����;: � ` ' <br /> T� f�e �c���a�i� ��y�r and G� Go�rnci� <br /> Fro� �he C� Nlana er <br /> October 23, 2000 <br /> Subject <br /> Agreement for Professional Engineering and Design Services — Zeiger Engineers, Inc. - <br /> Engineering File No. 1604-03 <br /> Recommendation <br /> Adopt a resolution approving and authorizing execution of an agreement with Zeiger <br /> Engineers, Inc., of Oakland, California, for providing Professional Engineering and <br /> Design Services for furnishing construction documents and other electrical engineering <br /> services to modify the existing electrical panels for accepting emergency portable <br /> generators to the "essential facilities," in an amount not to exceed $18,000. <br /> Background <br /> In the event of a major earthquake or other emergency, "essential facilities" are <br /> necessary to be operational.
