Lee: <br /> Based on our discussions with the Citv as to project requirement and scope of works for the design <br /> of Roosevelt :'���enue from Hudson Avenue to Valota Avenue, we are pleased to pro�zde �•ou w-ith <br /> this proposal. <br /> B ackground <br /> In 1987 Wilser Ham prepared plans for the reconstruction of Roosevelt Avenue from Hudson <br /> .-��-enue to Valota Avenue. Although the street has been maintained, the reconstrucuon project was <br /> not done. The project was for a con��entional 40ft. wide, curb to curb street. Since that time the Cit}� <br /> has determined that such residential streets might be more pleasing with defined areas which can be <br /> planted. In addiuon, this street has manv existing trees which would have been removed under the <br /> pre�-ious plan. _�ll of the trees can be presen�ed under the ne�� plan. <br /> Consequentl� the Cin• is proposing to proceed with the new plan. This proposal is for engineering <br /> ser� co pro�-ide the Cin with the plans, specificaaons and an engineers estimate (PS&E) for the <br /> c�nstruction of the project. <br /> Scope of Services <br /> General <br /> The Scope of Ser�-ices pro��ided for herein include the following: <br /> 1. De��elopment of Base I�lapping. <br /> �. Supplemental survering. <br /> �. De�•elopment and calcularion of street geometrics, lavout of curb, gutter and sidewalk. <br /> -�. De��elopment and calculation of a new street profile. <br /> 5. Inclusion of a sewer srstem which has been pre��iousl�� designed. <br /> 6. Inclusion of a water svstem which has been pre�zously designed. <br /> . Neu• drainage s�•stem. <br /> 8. Ne«� traftic signals at the �"alota _��•enue intersection. <br /> 9.
