RESOLUTION NO. �' �� <br /> RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE REGIONAL <br /> TRAFFIC SIGNALIZAT�ON/OPERATIONS PROGRAM (RTSOP <br /> 2) ARTERIAL TRAFFIC SIGNAL INTERCONNECT PROJECT; <br /> AND DIRECTING RETURN OF BID SECURITIES IN <br /> CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13972, adopted August 14, 2000, <br /> the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Regional Traffic <br /> Signalization/Operations Program (RTSOP 2) Arterial Traffic Signal Interconnect <br /> Project in the City of Redwood City, Califomia; and <br /> WHEREAS, in response to said advertisement, three bids were received; <br /> � and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has determined that all bids exceeded the <br /> estimated amount for the project; and <br /> WHEREAS, as a result thereof, this Council desires to exercise its <br /> reserved right to reject all bids and to authorize and direct the City Clerk to return <br /> all bid securities .furnished by said bidders and in accordance with the <br /> Instructions to Bidders for said improvements; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> C(TY, QS FOLLOWS: <br /> The bids received in response to advertisement for bids made pursuant <br /> to Resolution No. 13972, adopted August 14, 2000, for the Regional Traffic <br /> Signalization/Operations Program (RTSOP 2) Arterial Traffic Interconnect <br /> Project is, and each of them are, hereby rejected; the City Clerk is hereby <br /> Reso-loos 1 <br /> DES:djk <br /> F:Shared/Redwood/Council <br /> 10/02/00 <br /> ... _ _,.__. <br /> . ...w�.._._. . __ . . �. _.___...._��,_..._�_._,.,�_ _ _...__ ._ __ <br />
