<br />4.4(7) <br /> <br />Section 5. Sections 2.17.5, 2.39, 2.42, 2.48.5, 2.49, 2.53.,5, 2.55, 2.58.5, <br /> <br />2.68, 2.69, and 2.107 are hereby added to the Zoning Ordinance to read as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />"Section 2.17.5 Business Office. A use principally providing services to <br />individuals, firms, or other entities, including but not limited to real estate, <br />insurance, property management, title companies, investment, loan and <br />lending institutions, personnel, travel, and similar services, and including <br />business offices of public utilities or other activities when the service <br />rendered is that customarily associated with office services." <br /> <br />"Section 2.39 Financial Service. The provision of financial services to <br />individuals, firms, or other entities including services customarily provided <br />by banks, savings and loan institutions, credit unions, and similar <br />institutions and organizations." <br /> <br />"Section 2.42 Floor Area Ratio ("FAR"). The ratio, expressed as a <br />percentage, of the maximum permitted gross floor area of a building to the <br />lot area." <br /> <br />"Section 2.48.5 Ground Floor. The first floor of a building other than a <br />cellar or basement. When there is street frontage on a floor other than the <br />ground floor, the floor with the street frontage shall be deemed to be the <br />ground floor for purposes of applying zoning regulations. When there is <br />street frontage on more than one floor, the floor with the greatest number <br />of lineal feet of street frontage shall be deemed to be the ground floor for <br />purposes of applying zoning regulations." <br /> <br />"Section 2.49 Ground Floor Dependent Offices. Offices used for on- <br />site property management, for professional or consulting services <br />including, but not limited to, travel agencies, insurance agencies, income <br />tax preparers, real estate agencies, and notary publics. In determining <br />whether a particular use is ground floor dependent, consideration shall be <br />given to the requirement of such use for ground floor visibility in <br />commercial districts to serve patrons on an unannounced or drop-in basis, <br />and to rely upon a product or service display in the store frontage." <br /> <br />,"Section 2.53.5 Lot.
