While there are numerous additional objections to the <br />project. which may be heard at a later date, the appeal will focus solely on environmental issues. <br /> <br />We have previously provided our check in the amount of$l 00.00 for the appeal fee. <br /> <br />The Appeal will be based upon the failure of the FEIR to consider Housing as an <br />environmental condition, which could be significantly impacted by the Cinemaplex Project. The <br />documents to be considered include the DEIR, the FEIR, the City's recent Urgency Interim <br />Ordinance (including the legislative findings supporting its adoption) and the transcript of the <br />hearing before the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />The Appeal will also be based upon the parking and traffic impacts, which were not <br />properly considered. <br /> <br />Both housing and parking were the subject of an Interim Urgency Ordinance, recently <br />adopted and extended by the City of Redwood City, yet the FEIR fails to consider this important <br />development. Like a project where an endangered species is discovered just before an <br />Environmental Impact Report is finalized, this report needed to take into consideration new and <br /> <br />(POW:O354:TJH:DMOI91.DOc.2} <br />
