<br />7, '3 -cz- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL DESIGN SERVICES <br /> <br />(JOHN CAHALAN LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires the preparation of <br /> <br />construction documents for median landscape improvements at the intersections <br /> <br />of Main/Maple, Maple/Middlefield and Broadway/Hopkins in the City of Redwood <br />City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br /> <br />design services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, John Cahalan Landscape Architects of Burlingame, <br /> <br />California, represents that it possesses the experience, and is qualified to <br /> <br />perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement - Professional Design <br /> <br />Services" (form dated 1 0/24/00), by and between the City of Redwood City, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, and John Cahalan Landscape <br /> <br />Architects for the performance of the above-mentioned services, a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br /> <br />hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and the City <br /> <br />Reso-1023 <br />FXS:djk <br />F :/SharedlR edwoodlCouncil <br />1 0/24/00 <br /> <br />1 <br />
