<br />In response to your request, Beals Sports Collaborative is pleased to submit the follpwing
<br />proposal to provide Site Design and Engineering Services on the above-referenced project.
<br />This proposal reflects the Scope of Work required to provide the City with the desired baseball
<br />and soccer field improvements. The tentative schedule calls for the final documents to be
<br />completed this winter, and construction to begin early Summer 2001. Project completion
<br />would be in late Fall 2001.

<br />Project UnderstandinglHistory: ,
<br />In December 1999, the beals group, inc., completed the design package for Garfield Charter
<br />School's field renovation project to a "near-bid ready" level. Essentially, all major components
<br />of the design are complete, with minor modifications required to be made to the design
<br />package to make it suitable for project advertising and bidding.
<br />
<br />The City of Redwood City is proposing to retain the firm of Beals Sports Collaborative to
<br />provide landscape architectural, civil engineering, and construction administration services for
<br />the renovation of fields at Garfield Charter School. Primary project scope components will
<br />include sheet format updates to incorporate appropriate signatures, revise any minor design
<br />elements learned from the Taft School Sport Field Renovation Project, set up bid form and
<br />other front end documents, and finalize miscellaneous construction issues, such as contractor
<br />access, staging area, etc.

<br />General Project Scope:
<br />The project scope herein provided will be broken into three general phases:

<br />The first will be the Project Re-start Phase, in which we will meet with City and
<br />Redwood City School District Staff to review current plans, address current
<br />status of school construction on site, and review pertinent issues to be resolves,
<br />such as contractor access, staging, etc.
