<br />"7.~-Fl- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF <br />STARTERS FOR SELECTED STORM PUMP STATIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br /> <br />the purchase of new starters; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, three bids were received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Consolidated Electrical Distributors of Redwood City is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />accept the bid of Consolidated Electrical Distributors; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Consolidated Electrical Distributors for the sale of starters <br /> <br />for five (5) Cutler Hammer Starters to the City of Redwood City in the amount of <br /> <br />Fifteen Thousand One Hundred Eighty-three and 60/100 Dollars ($15,183.60) in <br /> <br />accordance with ~aid bidder's proposal dated November 13, 2000, is hereby <br />accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br /> <br />in response to solicitation for bids without advertisement for said parts. <br /> <br />2.
