<br />7.5.A~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF LEASE AGREEMENT OF TIDE AND SUBMERGE LANDS <br />FOR OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE PURPOSES <br /> <br />(A PORTION OF STEINBERGER SLOUGH) <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Lease PRC 7723.9", by and between the <br /> <br />State of California, acting by and through the State Lands Commission ("Lessor") <br /> <br />and the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California <br /> <br />("Lessee"), providing for a lease over a portion of Tide and Submerged Lands in <br /> <br />and along the Steinberger Slough for the purpose of operation and maintenance <br /> <br />of two saltwater intake/discharge pipelines and improve water circulation of the <br /> <br />water lagoon system at the Redwood Shores Peninsula, Redwood City, <br /> <br />California for a term commenCing December 13, 1999 and expiring December <br /> <br />12, 2024, a copy of which lease agreement is on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is <br /> <br />hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute and to attest thereto, respectively, said lease agreement for <br /> <br />and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* * <br /> <br />Reso-1O46 <br />FXS:djk <br />F :/S harediR edwoodiC cunei I <br />11/28/00 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />. <br />
