<br /><¡-AI <br /> <br />REPORT <br /> <br />To the Honorable Màyor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br /> <br />December 11, 2000 <br /> <br />Subject <br />Guidelines for City of Redwood City's Contribution toward Carrington Hall <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />Approve the Guidelines To Be Used In Releasing City Funds For Carrington Hall Renovation <br />Project, and Authorize Staff to Distribute the Funds as per the Guidelines. <br /> <br />Background <br />The Carrington Hall Auditorium Rescue Operation (CHARO) Board of Directors approached the <br />City of Redwood City asking the City to partner with them in renovating Carrington Hall because it <br />is a community resource. At the July 10, 2000 City Council meeting, Council allocated $250,000 in <br />CIP funds for fiscal year 2001/2002 towards the renovation. Council indicated that the funds would <br />be granted in the form of matching funds and asked staff to develop guidelines for the release of <br />those funds. <br /> <br />Fiscal Impact <br />There is no fiscal impact in terms of the adoption of the guidelines.
