<br />Council comments and questions ensued including advising that staff look at <br />the State decisions and how the program can be restructured utilizing all <br />options to support the current businesses in the area. The question of how <br />high speed rail might integrate into the infrastructure was asked. Funding <br />questions were addressed. <br /> <br />V. Water and Sewer Funds- <br /> <br />Peter Ingram explained the water and sewer enterprise funds budget that <br />included staff recommendations and billing impacts. He further explained the <br />various ongoing and proposed projects for each. <br /> <br />Council Members complimented staff on outreach and asked questions <br />about a reserve fund. <br /> <br />Recess: 8:25 -8:40 p.m. <br /> <br />B. Amendment of Sewer Service Charges <br /> <br />Public Works Services Ingram explained the sewer service charges. <br /> <br />Mayor Ira opened the public hearing. No public comment was made. <br /> <br />M/SFoust/Pierce to close the public hearing. The motion passed by a <br />unanimous voice vote. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />M/S Aguirre/Foust to introduce the Ordinance Amending Redwood City <br />Code - Section 27.100 - Sewer Service Charges <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 27.100 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO SANITARY SEWERAGE SERVICE <br />CHARGES <br /> <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote. <br /> <br />MINUTE ORDER 05.125 <br /> <br />7.
