<br />B. Council Member Howard - stated that on Saturday, June 25, Supervisor <br />Rose Jacobs-Gibson, in partnership with the Latino Community Alliance of <br />the Sheriff's Office, PRCS and business leaders throughout the community <br />participated in the first annual North Fair Oaks clean-up. Residents and <br />community members in the number of approximately 200 participated. She <br />thanked the Bay Area Gardeners Association, BFI, the Pride and <br />Beautification Committee, Crystal Springs Catering, Norcal Waste, St. <br />Anthony's Catholic Church, Whole Funds, Young Latino Leaders and the <br />San Mateo Credit Union. <br /> <br />C. Council Member Bain - stated that on Saturday, June 25, he attended a <br />Woodside Plaza neighborhood meeting where the two main topics were <br />neighborhood traffic and trees. He conveyed to the meeting attendants <br />that Council had supported a half time staff person focused on <br />neighborhood traffic issues that met with enthusiasm. He stated that he <br />also mentioned the experimentation using rubberized sidewalks in order to <br />decrease the amount of root cutting for sidewalk maintenance that also <br />met with interest. <br /> <br />8. ADJOURNMENT - 9:00 P.M. <br /> <br />MIS to adjourn until the next regular City Council meeting of July 11,2005 in memory <br />of Ronsia (Ron) Fields.
