<br />¿( ¿f(! - ß <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF ST. <br />FRANCIS STREET (55 FEET WIDE) IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />PURSUANT TO PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, CALIFORNIA STREETS AND <br />HIGHWAYS CODE; RESERVING A PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT (55 <br />FEET WIDE); SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR SEPTEMBER 12, <br />2005, FOR ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE <br />PROPOSED VACATION AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE <br />THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, that portion of St. Francis Street in the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />more particularly described in Exhibit "A" and depicted on Exhibit "B" hereof, <br /> <br />attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein (the "Property"), is <br /> <br />unnecessary for present or prospective public use; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3, Division 9 (commencing <br /> <br />with Section 8300j of the Streets and Highways Code, the City Council of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City intends to consider vacating the Property and reserve <br /> <br />therefrom a Public Service Easement (55 feet wide) (the "Easement"). <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of . <br /> <br />Redwood City as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The City Council hereby declares its intention to hold a public hearing to <br />determine whether to vacate the Property, subject to the conditions listed <br /> <br />on Exhibit "C," attached hereto and incorporated herein, and to reserve <br /> <br />therefrom the Easement pursuant to the provisions of Part 3, Division 9 <br /> <br />(commencing with Section 8300) of the California Streets and Highways <br /> <br />Code. <br /> <br />Atty/Reso/Reso.1527 <br />070505 <br />
