<br />any way related to said action by the City of Redwood City, the defense thereof by Lessors, <br />and/or any judgments against Lessors that arise therefrom. <br /> <br />11. This is a full and final Release of any and all claims related to or arising out of <br />said action and the undersigned agree it shall apply to all unknoWn and unanticipated claims, <br />damages or injuries resulting from said Action as well as those that are now known and <br />disclosed. The provisions of Section 1542 of the Civil Code of the State of California are hereby <br />expressly relinquished and waived by the undersigned. Said section reads as follows: <br /> <br />A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND <br />TO CLAIMS WHICH A CREDITOR DOES NOT <br />KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS FAVOR <br />AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE, <br />WHICH IF KNOWN BY HIM MUST 1-LI\ VE <br />MATERIALL Y AFFECTED HIS SETTLEMENT <br />WITH THE DEBTOR. <br /> <br />12. The undersigned further expressly agree that this Release shall be binding upon <br />their successors and assigns and shall enure to the benefit of the releasees and each of them. The <br />undersigned further represent that any approvals of this settlement required to be obtained by the <br />undersigned have been obtained and that they are expressly or otherwise fully authorized to <br />release and discharge releasees as described herein. <br /> <br />13. The undersigned hereby warrant that they are the legal owners of the claim <br />described and released herein and have not assigned all or any portion of the claims to any <br />person or entity and expressly agrees to defend, protect, indemnify and save harmless releasees if <br />any person, firm or corporation shall assert or attempt to assert any claims against releasees by <br />reason of the foregoing matters. <br /> <br />14. It is further understood and agreed that this settlement and general release <br />agreement is entered into in the State of California and shall be construed according to the laws <br />of the State of California. <br /> <br />15.
