<br /> FX3:cwb 7/1/91 (001/30) <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 8/12/91 <br />R E S 0 L U T I 0 N N O. 11573 <br />- - - - - - - - -- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SUMMARILY VACATING PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY; <br />ACCEPTANCE OF DEDICATION OF PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY; <br /> <br />(ORACLE PARKWAY - SHOREWAY ROAD) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part III, Chapter 4 <br /> <br />of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, <br /> <br />(commencing <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />§8330) , <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Legislative <br /> <br />body <br /> <br />may <br /> <br />summarily <br /> <br />vacate <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />s t.reet <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />highway <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />has <br /> <br />been <br /> <br />superseded <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />relocation; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on August 6, 1996, City entered into a Development <br /> <br />Agreement. with Campeau Corporation California (IIDeveloper"); <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />Development <br /> <br />Agreement <br /> <br />recites <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />at <br /> <br />t.he <br /> <br />City's request the Developer shall dedicate to the City property <br /> <br />which is necessary for a right of way and that the City will deed <br /> <br />to Developer property which is no longer necessary due to the <br /> <br />relocation of the right of way; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City has requested that Developer dedicate to City <br /> <br />a portion of land necessary for a public right of way; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council wishes to accept the dedication of a <br /> <br />portion of Oracle Parkway for a right of way; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a certain portion of Shoreway Road is no longer <br /> <br />needed because of the relocation of the right of way t.o Oracle <br /> <br />Parkway; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Council of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City, as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />This Council has authorized the City Clerk to accept on <br /> <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City, that certain dedication of a <br /> <br />"--"r'" <br />
