The Optional <br />items are tasks related to the Base Scope, which may be added if needed. <br /> <br />A. BASE SCOPE OF WORK <br />1. TASK ONE- <br /> <br />a. INFORMATION GATHERING: Meet at site on June 4th to gather input from the <br />public related to desired uses and features for the park. Discuss preliminary results <br />with City staff. <br /> <br />b. SITE INVESTIGATION: Observe all existing site elements in detail. Request input <br />from City arborist regarding condition of existing trees. Review existing irrigation <br />components on site with City maintenance staff. <br /> <br />Products: <br />DOCUMENTATION: Prepare written and graphic summary of information gathering <br />and site investigation results. Meet with City staff to discuss and define modifications <br />and features to be included on conceptual landscape plan. <br /> <br />2. TASK1WO- <br /> <br />Products: <br />a. CONCEPTUAL PLAN: Prepare conceptual landscape plan indicating proposed <br />modifications and new or replacement features. The plan will also include a <br />proposed plant species list and basic notations regarding irrigation, all in <br />conformance with City requirements. A preliminary landscape cost estimate will be <br />prepared. <br /> <br />b. WRITTEN DESCRIPTION: Prepare a written description summarizing all elements <br />included on the conceptual plan. Provide catalog cut sheets for proposed new or <br />replacement equipment and components. <br /> <br />"T--- <br />
