DES:djk O~/09/91 (044/27) the Act, the City has followed its Citizen Participation Plan as part of the process for determining how the grant funds herein referenced will be used; and WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the aforementioned application for a Community Development Block Grant and t.o authorize the execution of all documents pert.aining thereto, including all understandings and assurances connected therewith; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That certain application prepared for submission to the united States Department of Housing and Urban Development for a Communi ty Development Block Grant pursuant to Title I of t.he Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, a copy of which application is on file in the office of the Community Development Department of the City of Redwood City, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved. 2. This Council does hereby certify that the City of Redwood City has followed it.s adopted Citizen Participation Plan as required by Section 104(a) of the Act. 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute and file the aforesaid application, and all documents, including all understandings and assurances, necessary or appropriate in connection therewith, and t.o provide such additional information as may be required for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. * * * 11520 2 """..lr.
