<br />DAL:dft 4/15/91 <br /> <br />(055/29) <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />purposes <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />which <br /> <br />assessments <br /> <br />are <br /> <br />to be made <br /> <br />under <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Redwood City Ordinance No. 2036; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Association <br /> <br />desire <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />execute <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />new <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />administration <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Downtown <br /> <br />Business <br /> <br />Improvement Area No.2; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Association understands that a condition of t.his <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />will <br /> <br />be <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Association's <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />amend <br /> <br />its <br /> <br />articles and by-laws to be consistent with Redwood City Ordinance <br /> <br />No. 2036 and the statutes governing Area No.2; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Streets and Highways Code §36530 requires the City <br /> <br />Council to appoint an advisory board for t.he Downtown Business <br /> <br />Improvement Area No.2; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />t.he <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />desires to appoint the Redwood City Down Business Association as <br /> <br />the advisory Board for the Downtown Business Improvement.
