<br />6. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />Insurance. Permittee shall furnish to the City public liability and property <br />damage insurance naming the City of Redwood City, its Council, boards, <br />commissions, officers, employees, and agents as insureds, or additional <br />insureds, insuring the same against all claims for personal injury or death <br />to any person or persons resulting or arising from the conducting of the <br />activities herein permitted, or alleged to have resulted or alleged to have <br />arisen therefrom, or from any act or omission to act, of permittee in <br />connection therewith, in the amounts of $500,000 for each person and <br />$1,000,000 for each occurrence, and property damage insurance for <br />damage or injury to, or destruction of property, including the loss of use <br />thereof, in the amount of $500,000. Evidence of such insurance <br />coverage in form satisfactory to the City shall be furnished by permittee to <br />the City at least ten (10) days prior to commencement of the event. <br /> <br />Damage to Public Property. Permittee shall reimburse the City for the <br />costs for any damages to City owned property in the vicinity of the <br />designated route, caused by or arising out of, the conducting of the <br />activities permitted hereunder, or the acts, or omissions to act, of persons <br />participating in said event. All signs or other markings placed in or upon <br />public property,including the public right of way in connection the activity <br />with shall be removed immediately following said event. <br /> <br />Compliance With Laws. Permittee shall comply with all appropriate and <br />applicable rules, regulations and laws in connection with the conducting <br />of said event, or any activities associated therewith.Specifically,permittee <br />or any other individual event participants shall be responsible for <br />obtaining necessary State A8C permits and County Health permits. <br />Permittee shall obtain all necessary, State, County and City permits <br />pertaining to the fireworks display. This permit shall be in addition to all <br />other permits which are or may be required for conducting said parade <br />and festival, or any other activity associated therewith. Any sale of <br />alcoholic beverages shall cease not later than 5:00 PM. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />Hold Harmless. Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify <br />and save harmless the City of Redwood City, its Council, officers, boards, <br />commissions, employees and agents from all suits, actions, damages, or <br />claims to which the City may be subjected of any kind or nature <br />whatsoever, resulting from or arising out of the performance or failure to <br />perform of permittee hereunder, or otherwise arising from or arising out <br />of said parade, race, festival or any activities herein permitted. <br /> <br />City Services: City agrees to provide those services requested in the <br />letter of February 22,1991 (Exhibit "8") to the City Council in furtherance <br />of activities herein permitted. <br /> <br />10, <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Restroom Facilities: Adequate temporary restroom facilities shall be <br />provided by permittee at no expense to the City. <br /> <br />11498 <br /> <br />r- <br />
