<br />-----------' <br /> <br />., <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />07/01/90 <br /> <br />,. . . <br />. ..', -- <br /> <br />Exhibit IIAII <br /> <br />AGREEMENT FOR SPECIAL SERVICES <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this - day of <br /> <br />, 1990, <br /> <br />by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY (" City II), and LIEBERT, CASSIDY & <br /> <br />FRIERSON, A Professional Corporation C' Attorneyll), <br /> <br />\V I T N E SSE T H : <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, City requires special legal services relating to employer-employee <br /> <br />relations; and <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, Attorney has represented to City that it is qualified and willing to <br /> <br />perform such legal services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City and Attorney desire to enter into an agreement for legal services <br /> <br />to be furnished City pursuant to Section 53060 of the Government Code and such other <br /> <br />provisions of law as may be applicable. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Attornev's Services. Attorney shall furnish expert legal services to the City <br /> <br />as requested by the City, including, but not limited to, representation in administrative and <br /> <br />court proceedings. The place and time for such services shall be designated by City I s <br /> <br />Director of Human Resources. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Compensation. <br /> <br />City shall compensate Attorney for all legal services at <br /> <br />its standard rates, of between One Hundred Dollars (S100.00) and One Hundred Seventy- <br /> <br />Five Dollars ($ 175.00) per hour for a total cost not to exceed Sixty Thousand and No/IOO <br /> <br />Dollars ($60,000.00).
