<br />FXS:dft 12/5/90 (037/29) <br /> <br />structures accessory thereto, that the governing body of a city, <br /> <br />before making any changes and additions, shall make an express <br />finding that such changes and additions are reasonably necessary; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. In connection with the adoption of that certain <br />ordinance entitled "An Ordinance Repealing Article II of Chapter <br />12 of the Code of the City of Redwood City; Adding Article II of <br />Chapter 12 of the Code of the City of Redwood City Relating to <br />Fire Prevention; and Adopting by Reference the 'Uniform Fire <br />Code, 1988 Edition' as Published by the International Conference <br />of Building Officials and the Western Fire Chiefs Association", <br />it is hereby expressly found and determined that modifications, <br />deletions and additions made to the aforesaid Fire Code as set <br />forth in the Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance Repealing Article <br />II of Chapter 12 of the Code of the City of Redwood City; Adding <br />Article II of Chapter 12 to the Code or the City of Redwood City <br />Relating to Fire Prevention; and Adopting by Reference "Uniform <br />Fire Code, 1988 Edition", as Published By The International <br />Conference of Building Officials and The Western Fire Chiefs <br />Association" are reasonably necessary to provide for a system of <br />fire protection which will help to control the spread of fire and <br />limit the threat of property and life from fire within the City <br />and that modifications or changes are reasonably necessary <br />because of local climatic, geological or topographical conditions <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />T - <br />
